Web App: twalala

twalala is a web-based Twitter client (currently in early development) that allows users to control what they see (and more importantly what they don’t see) in their twitterstream.

Features:

  • filter tweets by keywords and phrases
  • mute individual tweeters or tweets with specific keywords
  • post and reply directly to twitter from twalala

The Good:

twalala’s UI is crisp and clean and each of the features it boasts works very well.

The Not-so-Good:

twalala is still in beta, so we will have to see if there are any bugs to work out. Presently, it only allows for management of one twitter account at a time. Also, any un-muting has to be done manually (you cannot set a mute or filter for a specific time period), so if you forget, you may never here from some tweeters again…. So far, so good.
