Web App: Qwitter

This item was filed under [ tweets, web apps ]

Qwitter is a web app that sends users email messages when someone unfollows them on Twitter.

Features:

  • one-time sign-up to initiate “qwitter” tracking
  • emails alert users to “unfollows” and the last tweet immediately prior to that “unfollow”

The Good:

Qwitter is very easy to use. A one-time registration (free) is required, and an email address must be supplied. Users can quit Qwitter by clicking on a link provided in the regular emails sent by Qwitter. We liked the graphics on the website too.

The Not-so-Good:

We could find nothing to complain about regarding Qwitter, which is a shame, because we really tried hard. Qwitter has a limited scope, but carries out its function very well. Providing an email address could open the door to spamming, but the promised not to.
