Web App: InnerTwitter

This item was filed under [ tweets, web apps ]

Inner Twitter is a web app that sends users a “chime” (message) at selected time intervals prompting the user to stop, breathe and be aware of their surroundings. Users can reply to the message by stating what is in front of them (or not).

Features:

  • simple web-based registration
  • message sent at specified intervals
  • a little zen introspection

The Good:

Inner Twitter is a nifty little application that reminds us to stop, breathe and observe the world around us at regular intervals (15 minutes, hourly, daily). You can use it as much or as little as you want. Pausing for a moment to reflect will probably make us happier and more productive, and that can’t be a bad thing.

The Not-so-Good:

We couldn’t find a single thing to complain about with Inner Twitter. In fact, we use it. It feels good. It is in beta, so who knows where it will go?
