TweetChat is a web app that allows users to focus on one topic at a time on Twitter by entering a “chat room” based on hashtags.

The Good:

TweetChat is a great tool for narrowing your focus within Twitter to follow any topic you wish by hashtag. You can post tweets on the topic you are following (called a “chat room” by TweetChat), and a character countdown is provided so you don’t go over limit. Each post is given the hashtag you are following at the time.

The Not-so-Good:

TweetChat works very well. The only thing to remember is that if you don’t know the hashtag you want to follow, TweetChat won’t let you into a “room”. You can type anything in and it will search for the tag, so it will probably work out anyway.
