TwittyTunes is a Firefox extension that works with FoxyTunes that allows users to post currently playing songs to Twitter.

Features:

• plug-in allows submission of “currently listening to” songs to Twitter
• plug-in also allows for regular updates to Twitter as well as tweets about websites visited

• requires FoxyTunes in order to submit “currently playing music” to Twitter

The Good:

TwittyTunes functions well enough as a regular Twitter updater, with an added bonus of allowing you to submit tweets about music you are currently listening to on FoxyTunes. It isn’t fancy, but gets the job done.

The Not-so-Good:

The real purpose of TwittyTunes is to work with FoxyTunes. Beyond that it is functional, but its utility is limited. That’s not a problem, but it is something users should probably know before getting too excited about it.
