Web App: TweepDiff

This item was filed under [ web apps ]

TweepDiff is a web app that allows users to compare the friends and followers of any two Twitter users.

Features:

  • web UI requires only the entry of two Twitter usernames to perform comparison
  • results display friends/followers of each user alone, and common friends/followers shared by both

The Good:

TweepDiff is a good tool for trying to find out who follows whom, and which friends/followers are shared. Avatars are displayed and drilling down will show details about each Twitter user, their last tweet and a link to their Twitter page. You can then decide if you would like to follow any of the folks displayed.

The Not-so-Good:

While TweepDiff does what its title suggests, and allows for comparison of the friends and followers of two Twitter users, it is rather light on instructions or background information.

** Since we first posted our review of TweepDiff, the developers have done an upgrade and added a “Learn More” link that goes into detail about the application and why one would want to use it. **

FYI, I added a Learn More link that goes into a lot of detail of what it is and why you’d want to use it. Hopefully, that will address the not-so-good. Thanks again for the review.
